BEGUILING BARVI

Barvi is a reserved forest that works as a catchment area of Barvi river & MIDC dam which supplies water to the surrounding suburbs. The river Barvi originates from the western part of Bhimashanakar wildlife sanctuary and is a tributary to river Ulhas. The reserved forest of Barvi is deciduous & moist deciduous in nature and is rich in flora & fauna.

 

Barvi has been termed as one of the finest birding , botanical, mammal watching & herping ground by several naturalists who have studied this pristine forest

 

The Nature’s Eye has planned a nature walk for half of the day in this enchanting forest on 16th July 2023 for maximum 20 individuals. The plan is to enjoy the sheer beauty of the forest when it’s  foliage is at its eloquent peak.

Cost : Rs 345 /- per head that includes transpoortaion & snacks on the field.
 

Itinerary:

Assemble at Badlapur Station 07.00 AM
Reach Barvi dam by local transport 08.00 AM
Cover the forest for next 4 Hours till 12.00PM

Fill your stomach at local dhaba famous for its delicacy and head back to your homes by 01.00PM
