Bioinformatics
Genes are like a story and DNA is the language in which the story is written. DNA studies are used everywhere! From identifying biological remains at excavation sites to catching the notorious killers in many cold cases, DNA studies are game-changers.
So, in today’s world where advanced technology has seeped into everyday life, why will biologists be shy of using it? This notion gave birth to the field of Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is like a detective tool for scientists. It helps them solve mysteries in the world of biology using computers and data. Imagine you have a giant puzzle made of tiny pieces. Each piece is a clue about how living things work. But putting the puzzle together is hard because there are billions of pieces!
In short, bioinformatics is like a marriage made in heaven of biology and computer science. It helps scientists decode the mysteries of life and make the world a better place. Currently, this technology is used in gene therapy, discovering new drugs as well as evolutionary studies. Cool, isn’t it?
The Nature’s Eye is presenting a unique opportunity to all students or enthusiasts of Biology and technology to delve deeper into the world of Bioinformatics. Come with us on this exciting journey Guided by Mr. Vyomesh Javle, an expert in this field.
