​Ms. Gargi Chandane is a dedicated environmental scientist, PhD Scholar, educator, and consultant with extensive expertise in ecological assessment, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable environmental management. With over a decade of professional experience, she has made significant contributions to the field through her teaching, research, and consultancy.
Ms. Gargi has in her post-graduation in Environmental Science from University of Punr. Currently, pursuing her PhD in environmental science from University of Mumbai. Meanwhile, she has served as a Visiting Faculty at the University of Mumbai, where she was instrumental in conducting postgraduate lectures and guiding field projects and still associated with UOM.
Her diverse professional background includes the roles such as a Sustainability Manager at Grow-Trees.com, a Carbon Specialist at Thrvye. Earth. Pte. Ltd India, an environmental consultant at multiple firms, etc. which highlights her capability in designing impactful environmental projects and conducting feasibility studies for carbon initiatives. She has also worked with organizations like Vanam Ecologics, Ecofootforward Pvt. Ltd. Ecoventures Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai.
With her profound knowledge of biodiversity conservation, urban ecology, and ecosystem restoration, her practical insights and academic accomplishments, including published research and certifications in ecological modeling, remote sensing, and climate action, ensure an enriched learning experience for the participants.
