Monsoon is here, and the forest is at its full glory! Join us as we decode the forests with the help of a team of wildlife biologists.
People of the Forest, in collaboration with Bridge to Circular Economy, bring to you an adventure-filled herping, birding and ecology workshop at Matheran. With a dynamic group of experts, including multiple wildlife biologists, you will learn about the various beauties of the forest that thrive during the monsoons, gaining a deeper understanding of the forest from their perspective.

Requirements: Participants have to carry along the following -​

  • Torch

  • Extra Batteries 

  • Sanitizer Spray

  • Sufficient Water

  • ORS or Electrolyte

  • Raincoat/Umbrella

  • Proper Shoes

  • Cap

  • ID Proof

 

Rules and Guidelines

  • Consumption of alcohol, smoking, drugs, narcotics is strictly not allowed and would lead to expulsion from the trip.

  • Leader's decision will be final and binding to all members. No arguments will be entertained.

  • Each member is responsible for their own safety and baggage.

  • Please do not wear any jewellery or gold ornaments.

  • Respect Forest Guides and Naturalists and follow their instructions.

  • Making loud noise and playing music in the forest is not allowed.

  • Do not try to touch or feed wild animals.

  • Do not litter. Keep the area clean. Carry chocolate wrappers, plastic covers, paper and other waste with you and dump it in the dustbin.

  • We strongly believe in saying - Wherever we go, leave only footprints and take back only memories.
