The Nature’s Eye is organizing a herpetology workshop in collaboration with Madras Crocodile Bank Trust to answer more such questions with an amazing virtual tour. What can be more compelling than this?


About the speaker:

Miss Steffi John is an education officer at MCBT and is conducting educational programs in the field of herpetology since 2019. She is also a part of the South Asia Representative at the International Zoo Educators Association. She was a research fellow at the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS).

Mr Kayden Anthony is a wildlife biologist. Works as an environmental educator with various college students across Mumbai. He has worked as a freelance naturalist and snake awareness educator with various organisations. He worked as one of the authors for the Indian snake organization and also is the founder of The Nature’s Eye powered by Wildlifearc.

Day 1: (10th September)

  • MCBT Virtual Tour: It will open us to the numerous varieties of reptiles and amphibians of India as well as exotic places. We’ll get a chance to take a view of various reptiles and amphibians like a huge tortoise, the python, crocodile, alligator, and many more. This virtual tour will show the close-up world of reptiles and amphibians in a way not seen before.

Day 2: (11th September)

  • Herpetology Webinar: This is a great chance to know about the Characters, basic understanding, evolutionary history, classifications, and taxonomic characteristics of snakes.
