Ms. B. Divya is a passionate wildlife conservationist and environmental educator with over five years of dedicated experience in butterfly research, zoo education, and public engagement in biodiversity awareness. 

Currently, she is holding a position of Zoo Education Officer at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam since 2020. She has played an essential role in designing and conducting interactive wildlife education programs for students, teachers, and the general public, with a strong focus on butterfly walks, species identification, and sustainable conservation practices.

Her ongoing involvement with organizations like WWF and WCTRE have enhanced her field knowledge of butterfly ecology, habitat preferences, host and nectar plants, and citizen science documentation techniques. Her educational qualifications

She has actively participated in national-level capacity-building programs, including training workshops organized by the Central Zoo Authority, WWF, and ICFRE, and contributed to conservation projects ranging from sea turtle and crocodile studies to climate change education in tribal and urban regions. 

Under her guidance, participants will not only learn the fundamentals of butterfly morphology and behavior but also gain the confidence to identify species, contribute to citizen science platforms, and take meaningful steps toward butterfly conservation.
