Dr. S. Prakash is an accomplished scientist and educator with a strong foundation in

bioinformatics, molecular biology, and environmental sciences. With years of

experience in research and teaching, he has made signi

cant contributions to the

elds of genomics, phylogenetics, and computational biology. Dr. Prakash has

designed and implemented numerous programs, workshops, and courses that bridge

the gap between biological sciences and computational tools, empowering students

and professionals to excel in the rapidly evolving

eld of bioinformatics.

He has a distinguished academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Marine Biology and

postdoctoral research as a Fulbright-Nehru Fellow at Clemson University, USA. He

has worked at various levels throughout his career like SRF twice, Project Assistant,

Project Associate, Scientist C twice and many more. He was a part of several funded

projects as well. He has guided numerous students and professionals through hands-

on training and innovative research projects.
