Dr. Sharad Suresh Kambale is a distinguished botanist, researcher, and educator specializing in Angiosperm Taxonomy, Nomenclature, and Biodiversity Conservation. With a remarkable academic and research background, he has significantly contributed to plant taxonomy by describing 23 new plant taxa to science.

Currently, he is serving as the Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Botany at Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Arts, Commerce & Science College, Nashik. He has an extensive research background, including a Ph.D. in Angiosperm Taxonomy and a UGC-Dr. D. S. Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellowship, along with 14 years of teaching experience. His significant research has led to over 74 published scientific papers in national and international journals. Along with this, he has served as a reviewer for 14 scientific journals.
