Bioinformatics is an interesting branch of science that deals with the Subdiscipline of Biology & Computer Science concerned with the Capture & Interpretation of Biological Data.

Sequence Alignment & Protein Modelling are core bioinformatics methods. Where, Sequence Alignment is the procedure of comparing two or more sequences of DNA, RNA or protein to identify regions of similarity that may be a consequence of functional, structural or evolutionary relationships between the sequences. Protein Modelling is a method of predicting and creating two dimensional or three-dimensional structures of proteins based upon various supporting models and their amino acid sequence.

The Nature’s Eye brings an exciting webinar exploring the interesting field of Sequence Alignment & Protein Modelling by Prashik Chavan, for all the learners who want to seek knowledge in the field of Bioinformatics.

About Prashik Chavan:

Prashik has completed his Post-Graduation in Bioinformatics & currently working as a Researcher at the laboratory of cancer epigenetics, Department of Biochemistry, CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore in a project named “In Silico evaluation of dietary spice bioactive as key epigenetic modulators”.
