Snakebite envenoming is a neglected condition that impacts the lives of millions of mainly poor people. It is estimated that 81000–137000 deaths occur each year. Most of the cases occur in rural areas.

 Having knowledge about all kinds of snakes is important to avoid the incident, as a precaution is always better than the cause. It is also important to have the self-awareness to manage after-cause consequences.

Shuayb  Ahmed runs a Homestay for pets called Forest and River's Shack and is a passionate wildlife lover. He is a  self-taught wildlife rescuer and has been known to do ethical rescues for the past 17 years in Bangalore. He is authorized by the forest department and The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. Forest cell performs rescues all over Karnataka.
