About the Teacher

  • Entomologist

  • Biodiversity Educator &  Researcher

      Mr. Meehir Pawar is a passionate entomologist, wildlife researcher, naturalist, and environmental educator with a strong passion for studying insect diversity and freshwater ecosystems.

           Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Zoology at the University of Mumbai Beyond Academics, Mr. Pawar has extensive field experience conducting biodiversity surveys, insect assessments, and ecological monitoring projects across diverse habitats. 

              He has conducted numerous workshops, webinars, and nature education programs for students, teachers, and wildlife enthusiasts. He has worked with several organizations such as the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), Sanjay Gandhi National Park, WWF, and various educational institutions to promote biodiversity awareness and citizen science. 
             He has several research papers under his name and he is the recipient of the Sanctuary Asia Young Naturalist Award 2024.
