Using Social Media to Connect People with Indian Wildlife

Wild Remix is a creator challenge where you take a segment from one of our wildlife videos and transform it with your own creative style—whether that's storytelling, photography, animation, humour, education, voiceover, or something completely unexpected. The best performing video receives a cash prize.

What is it?

Take a video/segment from @man_of_the_forest_ or @the_jungirl account and add your own touch, you can...

  1. Add your own footage/explanation

  2. Add voiceover

  3. React to it

  4. Explain the science

  5. Tell a related story

  6. Add humour

  7. Translate/explain it in another language

  8. Add animation

  9. Add illustrations

  10. Create a cinematic version

  11. Connect it to something you've personally experienced

  12. Make a parody

What can you do?

  3. Follow the posting instructions given below.

  4. Post the remix as a Reel.

How to participate

  1. Keep wildlife information accurate. Always verify facts and mention credible sources wherever applicable.

  2. Respect copyright. Do not use copyrighted music, footage, photographs, or other content unless you have the necessary rights or permission.

  3. Do not misrepresent footage. Avoid editing or presenting original footage in a way that changes its meaning, context, or creates a misleading impression.

  4. Give proper credit. Include all credits provided to you in the video and/or caption as instructed.

  5. Follow the posting guidelines. Adhere to the specified instructions regarding format, captions, tags, hashtags, credits, and posting requirements.

  6. Keep content respectful. Content that is offensive, hateful, or discriminatory towards any community is strictly prohibited.

  7. No hate or discrimination. Misogynistic, homophobic, racist, casteist, or otherwise demeaning content targeting marginalised communities is strictly prohibited.
