Nature Journaling- one day Workshop
Observe • Reflect • Connect with Nature
Nature journaling is a mindful practice that combines observation, curiosity, and creativity to deepen our connection with the natural world. Through simple techniques such as sketching, note-taking, and reflection, nature journaling helps us slow down, notice details, and build a personal relationship with nature with no artistic background required. This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the practice of nature journaling as a tool for learning, well-being, and environmental awareness. This workshop is suitable for students, educators, nature lovers, artists, researchers, anyone seeking a mindful, creative connection with nature and anyone curious about observing the natural world more closely. Register for today and take the first step towards yourself.

About the Teacher
Ecology specialist
Conservation Biologist
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction trainer
Kumkum Dubey is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a well-established, evidence-based approach originally developed to support stress reduction, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. She is a nature journaling facilitator and mindfulness practitioner with a strong foundation in environmental science, conservation biology, and self-awareness practices. Her work sits at the intersection of ecology, mindfulness, and reflective practice, helping individuals reconnect with nature while cultivating presence, curiosity, and inner clarity.
With academic training in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Conservation Biology, Kumkum brings a deep understanding of ecological systems alongside a gentle, inclusive approach to facilitation. Her nature journaling workshops are designed to be accessible and grounding emphasising observation, reflection, and connection rather than artistic skill or prior experience.
Through her workshops, Kumkum creates calm, welcoming spaces where participants are encouraged to slow down, notice deeply, and engage with nature as both a teacher and a mirror. Her facilitation style is non-judgmental and rooted in self-kindness and compassion, making her workshops suitable for beginners as well as those already on a mindfulness or nature-based journey.
Kumkum has worked across environmental education, conservation research, community engagement, and technology-driven ecological solutions.
