It is tailored for undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD scholars, and early-career researchers in wildlife, ecology, and environmental sciences.

About the Teacher

Chairman of SEIAA, Puducherry

Dr. M. Dwarakanath is a highly accomplished environmental science and policy expert with over 35 years of experience in government, research, and academia. Currently the Chairman of SEIAA, Puducherry, and a Visiting/Adjunct Professor at multiple reputed institutions, he brings exceptional insight into research funding and project management. He has served two tenures as an Expert Member in the Research & Development Committee of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India—where he evaluated and recommended research proposals for national-level funding. Dr. Dwarakanath has successfully secured and coordinated multicrore environmental projects funded by the World Bank, MoEF&CC, and other national agencies. His deep understanding of funding mechanisms, policy frameworks, and proposal evaluation makes him uniquely positioned to guide researchers and academicians in crafting impactful grant proposals and securing research funding.
