Trees: Morphology, Identification and Essentials of Field Workshop 2026
Our Online Certificate Course on Trees: Morphology, Identification and Essentials of Field Workshop 2026 is specially designed to introduce participants to the scientific and practical aspects of tree study. Whether you are a student, nature enthusiast, beginner botanist, or someone interested in field-based biodiversity learning, this course offers the perfect opportunity to build strong foundational knowledge in tree identification.
Throughout this three-day program, you will learn the fundamentals of vegetative and reproductive morphology and understand how these features help in identifying different tree species. The course will guide you through family-wise identification approaches and case studies of common Indian trees, helping you develop practical observation skills. You will also explore essential field tools and techniques, ethical practices during fieldwork, and the use of digital platforms such as iNaturalist for documenting tree diversity. In addition, participants will gain insights into mini project design and career opportunities related to botany, forestry, and environmental science.
We warmly invite you to join us in this engaging and informative learning experience, where you can strengthen your field identification skills, deepen your connection with nature, and contribute to the understanding and conservation of tree biodiversity.
