Mr. Gunjan Gupta is a highly accomplished Environmental Engineer and EIA Expert with over a decade of professional experience in environmental management, pollution control, and sustainability planning. He is currently serving as the Deputy Environmental Engineer at the Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI), Government of Gujarat.
He is an Accredited Functional Area Expert (FAE) by QCI-NABET, specializing in Water Pollution and Solid & Hazardous Waste Management sectors. He has contributed significantly to environmental policy implementation and project evaluation at the state level.
Mr. Gupta has hands-on experience in implementing national environmental regulations including the Environment Protection Act, Solid Waste Management Rules, Hazardous Waste Rules, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks. His work also involves capacity building, training programs, and stakeholder engagement, helping organizations transition towards circular economy practices and sustainable resource management.
We are honored to have Mr. Gupta leading this workshop, where he will guide participants in developing the knowledge and skills needed to manage waste efficiently, adopt circular economy practices, and contribute towards a sustainable future.
