Dr. Abhijeet Bayani is an passionate wildlife biologist, ornithologist, and environmental educator with extensive experience in avian ecology, biodiversity research, and field-based teaching.​

                  Dr. Bayani has completed his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune with research focused on wildlife ecology and human–wildlife interactions. He also holds a Master’s degree in Zoology with specialization in Avian Biology from the The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He has worked as a Wildlife Biologist with organizations such as the Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Wildlife Trust of India, In addition to research, he has significant teaching experience.​

                  He has led numerous biodiversity field studies, bird surveys, and nature education programs for students, researchers, and citizen scientists. He is also actively involved in biodiversity informatics and citizen science platforms, contributing to data curation and scientific outreach initiatives that promote public participation in wildlife documentation.​

             Through this Workshop,  Dr. Abhijeet will guide participants through both scientific and practical aspects of bird study, including avian morphology, taxonomy, behaviour, and field identification methods.
